How to become a Kentucky licensed Real Estate Agent
You must complete a 96 hour state approved Salesperson License Course (equivalent to 6 credit hours) at an university or attend a local real estate school, before taking the state Real Estate Exam. You must pass the state exam with a score of 75 or higher. The exam consists of 120 multiple choice questions. (80 questions on the General section and 40 on the Kentucky License Law section). You will receive official results within minutes of completing the examination. 

You will have to submit a completed application, FBI fingerprint card, and appropriate fee to the Kentucky Real Estate Commission.

Once you receive your Kentucky Real Estate Salesperson License, and your license is active with a broker, you can begin to sell real estate.
